Whew! What a whirlwind! I missed participating in one afternoon session due to a face-to-face meeting and then I gave my first-ever 60 minute webcast. That is totally exhausting! The timing is very different, the lack of non-verbal communication impacted me more than I expected, and in general it was a lot like giving a presentation again for the first time ever. In that sense I can see that it’s totally a skill that you can grow with enough opportunities to practice it. And the audience was very nice, participating in discussion more than I even expected.
There are a few more things I’d like to watch (they recorded all the sessions) and there are discussion boards on each topic, so there’s still more to do.
All-in-all, good conference! Now off to home for the day!
