If you’re headed to ALA, you might want to check out the ALA Wiki. The most interesting new thing (to me) this year is the Dine-Around program. The local UU church does something like this here. You can pick a type of food to eat, sign up, and meet new people over a meal. If this ALA weren’t particularly over-scheduled for me, I’d totally sign up for Indian or Thai!
