This meme has been going around for a while now, and I thought I’d give it a go before we’re into the new year. Here is my year in first sentences:
January: With the new year, I wanted to refocus this blog on my areas of specialty.
February: [google owns me] Today, at least.
March: I’m so excited that today is my day to chat with the Five Weeks to a Social Library group.
April: [unc-tlt wrap-up] …a week later.
May: Last week, before graduation, I went to Atlanta for SOLINET to present on Social Software and the Future of Libraries with Erik Mitchell.
June: I love anyone who can criticize Aristotle’s hierarchy and point to a new direction for librarians in a single breath.
July: John and I watched The Good Shepherd this evening, and we saw a scene that was the greatest example of how plagiarism is dangerous.
August: I love slideshare.
September: [i was at the SOLINET NC user group meeting today!] Here’s what I did:
October: MPOW took a field trip on Friday to my hometown and alma mater: NCSU.
November: John and I went to lovely Asheville over the weekend, ate some delicious food, and saw lots of fun things.
December: OMG everyone, I gave National Novel Writing Month a try and I actually did it.
For a few months I played with pushing tweets and del.icio.us links to the blog, so I didn’t include those if they were first (they were less interesting anyway).
Happy new years everyone! Please be safe!
