…a week later.
Getting back from a conference is always quite busy, and I’m just now getting around to listing my conference blogging links here:
- intro to the UNC Teaching and Learning with Technology Conference
- active learning in the library
- online teaching strategies
- blended learning
- computer-based learning
- student culture and academic computing competencies
- online instruction
- evidence-based support for student-created learning objects
- staying ahead of the curve
- student production of multimedia learning solutions
- learning commons
- unc-tlt wrap up
All in all, this was a great conference for me. Whereas ALA conferences tend to be mostly business, meetings, and work, this conference was mostly about learning. As I’m starting to become more and more interested in the practical applications of technology in education (both formal and informal) this conference addressed many of my current areas of interest, and was quite inspiring in several ways. I came back ready to hit the ground running, and wishing I had more time to do some of the interesting things I learned about!
