I’ve been meaning to post about this picture for some time now. I think a lot about what “academic library 2.0†and “information literacy 2.0†‘might look like. This picture is a good representation of that for me.
I first came to libraries from a student affairs background. In that realm we were all over the physical and virtual space, but in primarily social ways. I think it could be fruitful to consider how libraries could embrace some of the techniques that are common in student affairs (like programming in the residence halls and truly paying attention to the needs and desires of users). Yay Library 2.0.
