social software

I’ve been away from the blog for over a week, so I had a lot of catching up to do in my Bloglines account! I think one of my big summer projects will be to clear it out a little bit.

However, there were two really interesting, social software-specific links I was excited about:

  • Meredith Farkas posted the most thorough write up of libraries and social software over at Information Wants to be Free.
  • Blog Without a Library Posts about a LIS course in social software. It looks awesome! It’s a lot like what I was thinking of when I wrote about a library 102 class. It’d also be a great workshop for professional development.
