flickr as a library tool

So I love the lifehack post on Flickr as a Business Tool. It includes great tips such as uploading pictures of product design for comment/review (just mark it “friends only!”), using it to review stores, using flickr to capture meeting/conference presentations, and for it for marketing.

I use flickr as a training tool for my student workers. However, expanding on this lifehack post, I could see how flickr could be useful to discuss ideas in the committee brainstorming phase, reviewing library branches, capturing staff development opportunities, and, as it is well discussed in the biblioblogosphere, for marketing.

Hi Lauren– I’m glad the Lifehack post worked for you. I’m a big fan of libraries and librarians (I think I just gave a hack about using library books to help time people’s consumption of books), so I’m glad this had some mindshare with you. I love your Flickr as a training tool. It really helps add to the conversation. Further, I love the concept of library 2.0, and look forward to reading more of your posts in this regard. You rock!
